Stopped by this tiny bakery in Ikseon-dong and the coffee bread was amazing! It was super soft, not too sweet, and really satisfying. Definitely worth trying! Meal type: Other Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cultural Bakery was one of those completely unplanned stops — we were literally running to the station to catch a train, saw it, and ducked in quickly. What caught my attention was the rating: a clean 5.0 on Google Maps with over 1,000 reviews, which almost feels suspiciously perfect. But curiosity won, and it turned out to be one of those rare cases where the hype actually holds up. The garlic bread is the one to note — but fair warning, it leans sweet. Not subtle either, so you need to be in the mood for that kind of profile. That said, it’s still well-executed: soft, buttery, and properly soaked with flavour. The cream bun is the safer play and just lands cleanly — light, soft bread with a generous but not overwhelming cream filling. Net-net, for a quick, almost accidental stop, it overdelivered.
