First time when I had a gig at this place I was late for load in / rehearsal and you know, it is not good idea as musician to meet local house folks but, they took care of my needs promptly, immediately I felt at ease and already I felt in love of this quite unbelievable jazz spot. No one said anything negative about my false, focused what we should do quick rehearsal and guys, !! this is the spot for jazz !! I am originally from Osaka, have been playing trumpet for 45+ years, but this was my very first time playing jazz in my hometown and Music Cafe Mellow Tone became my favorite jazz house in many different perspectives. I had my high school mates and had a great time to hang out with all includeding old Berklee School of Music mates, great jazz vocalist sat in and spontaneous guest showed up. I can not thank enough for all people here and felt warmth jazz souls at max which I have never felt like this before. I will be back to play at this spot on October 23rd, 2026 and please peek your head for this great jazz bar, I promise Music Cafe Mellow Tone won't let you down, only great time JAZZ TiME ️
