Stumbled here by accident, glad I found it on the map that was a short 5min walk from my hotel. First there was no name of cafe outside on storefront, so you just have to make sure you find the right building, but from the traffic light, I could tell it was the one from google reviews. Upon entering, you have the owners, both very sweet and lovely couple that were kind to help if needed. They can speak English which I was surprised, even if they said not so well, their pronunciation was on point. Second floor is great for working, studying and so relaxing. There wasn't a minimum spending, which was lovely yet still ordered plenty for one person. People said their cappuccino were really good, but I chose their Iced Peppermint coffee latte and honestly it's really nice, it's refreshing, light, not so sweet, the mint can be tasted behind, while coffee is still there unlike other franchises. Tuna cheese sandwich was delicious on an empty stomach. It reminded me of home as someone who's currently travelling. I did see many people choosing the meatball option, so if I come back to Tainan, I would love to try it. Chocolate brownie, very dense yet not so sweet. It's different to the brownie I know. Similar to a fudge cake, but it's not a fudge. For the canele, it's just an ordinary which still tastes good for quick snack. The food does take quite some time to arrive to you, so don't expect it to instantly come after ordering. You think they might have forgotten one of your food, but they haven't, maybe it was busy downstairs so it took a while. They have a toilet (squat) on level 2. It's such a cozy little cafe, managed to get work done. Price per person: $200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
