There's a reason this place has been present for 30 years. Remember eating this in Serangoon Central when I was a boy in the 90s. Absolutely no difference. Even the place smells the same. Slice of the old life for us millennials. Miss the good ol' days. Tangyuan with Tao Huey hits the spot. Looks like they still have croissants too which smell exactly the same. Pity I don't see anymore pies in the pastry selection Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Vegetarian options: Tau Huey should be vegetarian Dietary restrictions: It's just tau Huey or croissants.

Previously, I might have given 5 stars on the food alone, but recently the price has gone up and the quality of the peanut dumplings 3-in-1 snack (my favorite) has been inconsistent. Sometimes the dumplings are still hard, like they were defrosted but not actually cooked. The tofu and soy milk though are very delicious and clean tasting, fresh. Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for a healthy treat. I recommend 20% sugar level. Meal type: Other Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Mostly all vegetarian!

Came here a year ago. Was surprised to see price increase. The Tang Yuan in Soy Beancurd and milk went from $4.90 to $5.90. You can spot old price under a sticker. Other soy products have gone by by more than a dollar too. Food quality and overall setup of the place feel unchanged. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
