地域にあるおしゃれカフェ。こだわりのコーヒー豆を使った各種ドリンクを楽しめる。 今回は、モカをオーダー。甘すぎず、コーヒーとチョコレートの味がとてもうまく融合しておいしかった。 店内には休日の朝を楽しむタイ人の方がたくさんいらっしゃる。良い写真もきれいに撮れそう。 1点難点はWi-Fiがないこと、それ以外は最高。 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ฿100–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Coffee Shop No. 588 Nana Coffee Roasters Ari, Bangkok September 25, 2025 Some coffee shops make a good first impression the moment you step through the door. Others build anticipation from the street. Nana Coffee Roasters was the second kind. Long before I reached the front door, I knew I was going to love this place. The building itself is a work of art. Constructed from brick, the designers used different shades and colors to create texture throughout the exterior. Even the name “Nana” is built directly into the brickwork using lighter-colored bricks. Surrounding it all is a lush garden filled with tropical plants that soften the architecture and make the entire space feel welcoming. The closer I got, the more excited I became. I was practically skipping by time I reached the shop’s front door. Every detail of the cafe felt intentional and carefully considered. The front entrance welcomes the cafe’s visitors is a large stone slab (or at least it looked like one) with metal letters spelling out the café’s name, NANA. It contrasted beautifully against the brick building, wooden door and vibrant green plants. A The moment I stepped inside, I knew these people love coffee. Brewing equipment filled one corner of the space. Traditional drip coffee, pour-overs, cold brew, espresso drinks—there were multiple ways to enjoy coffee, and as a roastery they offered several different bean selections as well. This wasn’t a café that happened to serve coffee. Coffee was clearly the heart of everything they do. The seating was equally impressive. There were bar seats where guests could watch the baristas work their magic, comfortable armchairs for relaxing, and bench seating positioned beside large picture windows. Framed in wood, the windows looked out onto the gardens, turning the greenery outside into part of the café experience. Since it was a hot day, I ordered an affogato with coconut ice cream to compliment my hot cappuccino and to keep me cool. For my coffee, I chose their Rum Caramel light roast from Thailand. It arrived on a wooden tray accompanied by a card describing the tasting notes: rum, vanilla, caramel, and candy. I honestly can’t imagine a better combination. The coffee was fantastic. As always, I couldn’t resist taking the stairs. Too often a café’s second floor feels like an afterthought, but not here. The lighting, design, and atmosphere were every bit as thoughtful as the rest of the space. It felt like an extension of the experience rather than extra seating added for convenience. If we didn’t have plans for lunch, I would have spent an entire day upstairs. Still, my favorite part may have been the garden. Thailand does beautiful gardens exceptionally well, and Nana is no exception. Even if you don’t drink coffee, I would tell you to stop by, order a bottle of water, and spend some time outside among the plants. I wandered the garden for at least twenty minutes, admiring the collection of tropical foliage. One enormous elephant-ear-like plant caught my attention immediately. Its leaves were so large they seemed almost unreal. Nana Coffee Roasters wasn’t just one of my favorite coffee shops in Ari. It was one of the highlights of my entire coffee journey through Bangkok. Enjoying life, one coffee shop at a time.
