日曜日の午前中、早い時間に訪れたのですんなりと入れました。 スープは勿論のこと、脂身が苦手な私はホロホロと解れる肉も美味しかったです。 近くの有名店はレンゲを口元に持ってきたら豚の嫌な臭みを感じたのですが、こちらは全く臭みがなく美味しかったので何度か継ぎ足ししていただきました。 キクラゲの一品が美味しくて追加で頼みました。 旅程最終日の昼過ぎに再び訪れたのですが大行列で、キクラゲの一品が品切れだと判明したので諦めて帰りました。 ローカルな雰囲気が大好きで、エアコンがあって交通便利なクラーク・キーセントラルの店舗ではなく、こちらに、また来年も行きたいです。. A Nostalgic Return to NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh (Rangoon Road) After 10 years, I finally returned to Singapore — and one of the first things I knew I had to do was revisit NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh at the Rangoon Road branch, the very same place I ate at years ago. The restaurant is spacious and clean, and the Bak Kut Teh tastes just like I remembered — a comforting, peppery broth with tender pork ribs that were easy to eat, and innards that were well-prepared with no unpleasant odor. I paired the meal with a boiled egg and a glass of lime tea. The lime tea was slightly sweet and refreshing, though I personally prefer drinks with no sweetness at all. It would be great if there were a no-sugar option available. Overall, coming back to this spot brought back memories of my previous trips to Singapore. It was a meaningful and satisfying experience — a taste of the past, just as warm and delicious as I remembered. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40
