I went with my friends to eat at this new pizzeria in Patong, I had a great time and I ate a pizza with confit cherry tomatoes, Colonnata lard and mozzarella, it was very good and my friends ate the carbonara and an excellent amatriciana. Of us who have been to Italy, we can say that it is as if we had eaten in the country. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you’re staying around Patong and looking for something beyond typical tourist food, this place is a real hidden gem on Nanai Road. From the moment you walk into NORD & SUD, you can feel a cozy, relaxed European vibe that’s quite different from the busy, noisy restaurants near Bangla Road. The restaurant specializes in Italian cuisine, and you can really tell that the food is made with care and authenticity. The menu offers a nice balance between classic dishes and creative touches, giving you both comfort and something new to try. Everything feels fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully plated. One of the highlights here is definitely the pasta. Cooked perfectly al dente, rich in flavor, and not overly heavy like some places in Patong. The sauces taste homemade, with deep flavors that show real attention to detail. If you’re a pizza lover, their pizzas are also worth trying — crispy base, good quality toppings, and a proper Italian feel. What really stands out is the atmosphere. It’s calm, intimate, and perfect for a chill dinner after a long day at the beach. Whether you’re on a date, with friends, or even dining solo, the vibe makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I ate at this new traditional Italian restaurant and had a very good experience. I started with an excellent selection of cured meats, then chose a beef stew with potatoes and peas, cooked to perfection. Everything was very tasty and carefully prepared—you can tell the owners really care about quality. I can’t forget the dessert: I tried a truly outstanding tiramisu. Prices are fair and reasonable for the quality offered. The location is beautiful, with outdoor seating and an indoor dining area with air conditioning. I will definitely come back with pleasure.
