Although the combination of New York style lobsters with Korean dishes does not really work in any meaningful way, the food was satisfactory. The service was also very responsive and great. However, at the price points set by the restaurant, one would and should expect a lot more. The temperature of the food is the most disappointing - items that were meant to be hot, like the cooked lobsters and bread, or cold, like the lobster sashimi and dongchimi, are all served at room temperature. The "dessert" includes a small cup of non-alcoholic beverage and a single sour mandarin. The rooms are not soundproof, which makes diners compete for volume. The nitpicking can go on, but overall, we were not unhappy with our visit(s). NY Lobsters offers an overpriced and truly average dining experience.
