Quite possibly the most magical resort in Thailand. Definitely the loveliest place that I have visited. The staff were exceptional. So friendly and kind and helpful. To the extent that one lovely waiter stayed late after he finished to make sure that I could get a taxi back to where I was staying. (Sorry that I didn't catch his name). Peploy was a lovely waitress making sure that she understood my dietry requirements. Not all staff speak English but it isn't a problem as they will either use Google translate or find a member of staff who does. Those that do, have a very high standard of English. The grounds are stunning with the added extra of a lovely art gallery. My one gripe is that the location of the art gallery on Google maps is incorrect. My poor taxi driver got sent all behind the rice paddies down the worst roads and I had to pay him extra to drop me at Nakara after giving up on finding the gallery. Only to realise that it is part of Nakara. But otherwise a peaceful and perfect afternoon. Thank you all. A lovely countryside cafe and restaurant inside a boutique resort in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai. It features charming Lanna rural interior with huge rattan chandeliers, wooden beams and local artworks. The outdoor terrace offers unbeatable front view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao mountain, surrounded by rice fields, gardens and swimming pool.
