3 stars purely because the food was delicious, probably some of the best Indian food I've had in Taiwan. However, the service was AWFUL, had to wait almost an hour for our food (we had to prompt them!), they didn't remember to give us cutlery or water. The dining space is cramped and only has a couple of fans, no AC. Definitely not acceptable service/atmosphere for the price. So if you can put up with all that crap for great food then perhaps it's worth a visit Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I used to come here often during my student days at NTNU. However, I was shocked to see how much Namaste Taiwan has changed since I last dined here. The restaurant has expanded and there is a much bigger seating area now. Unfortunately, the dining area feels unfinished and looks absolutely soulless. The prices have also increased significantly, yet the service and interior have not improved. The service was slow and the staff were quite inattentive. It is such a shame. I used to look forward to coming here because the food is great and tastes very authentic. The owner is very kind, too. However, with the higher prices, the restaurant now offers very poor CP value, and I would rather go to a different Indian restaurant where I get better value for my money. Price per person: NT$200–400 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

It was a good value place for student but they increased the price that now it's almost the same as a sit down restaurant with a proper kitchen. I used to come here, the food was decent and the price was suitable for student's budget. Now I feel with the new price point is not comparable to the service and atmosphere they are offering. The kitchen is outdoor and doesn't look as hygienic as a proper restaurant kitchen. The staff also changes often and lacks training, seems like they are part time students. Hope this can serve as a reflection. This time I ordered chicken curry and paneer. The chicken thigh consists of 80% skin and bones, it was super dry, the spices didn't seep into the chicken meat at all. The paneer's consistency and taste is much closer to tofu than the typical paneer, it's supposed to be creamy and cheesy. I have tried the mutton in the past and it was good (at the time), I haven't had the chance to try it again and likely will not come back. The naan was significantly deflated and hard in texture than what they used to serve. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
