It's the market, not an elegant restaurant. The food is great and the prices low. I'm partial to massaman curry but it's all good. Lots of good eats in this place. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you want the real deal, this is the one! Access the place where actual locals eat at affordable prices. Nana is so friendly and she speaks good English. She is so welcoming to everyone. It has become my designated place to get local Thai dishes and my favorite is the green papaya salad, which is made with so much care and love and exactly to your spice level. One thing to note, is that it’s inside a local market where commerce happens and to sit down and eat, might seem a bit grimy for some visiting. I personally don’t mind sitting and eating there and Nana is very talkative and we’ve gotten into short friendly conversations.. Also, you can take out an order to go and enjoy it like I have in the photos - up in my hotel rooms balcony or in a park along the canal it’s the real Chiang Mai cultural dining experience. Back in Chiang Mai and enjoying another meal at Nana's Kitchen! It's a pleasure to enjoy freshly prepared food again. I tried many dishes and they were all very good. The vegetarian dishes are also highly recommended.
