When in Hong Kong, dim sum is a must! We wanted to enjoy some before flying back home and happened to come across this restaurant. Good thing we decided to give it a try—it did not disappoint. Food came out fresh and hot! Our cravings were definitely satisfied. We would absolutely come back the next time we visit Hong Kong. Nanhai No.02: Reliable Spot for Casual Dim Sum Went to Nanhai No.02 for lunch and had a good experience overall. The dim sum is solid and satisfying, perfect for a casual meal. Service was fast and efficient, which we appreciated during lunchtime. It does get busy, so I’d recommend booking in advance to avoid waiting. The atmosphere feels more suited for friends’ gatherings or colleague meet-ups rather than an intimate meal, lively but comfortable. We had lunch at Nanhai No.2 and ordered some cooked dishes along with dim sum. The food was amazing – every dish was full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The lobster broth Pao fan and roast pork were particularly good. The kids also enjoyed the xiao long bao, char siew pao and seafood udon. The service was attentive and we also had a great view of the harbour. The restaurant was crowded and lively for lunch on a Thursday, which is testament to their good food. Highly recommended!
