The atmosphere of the café was not bad, but unfortunately, the owner's attitude made our experience extremely unpleasant. The lemon drink was too sour for our taste, so we politely apologized and asked if it would be possible to add a little syrup. We would have been completely fine with paying an additional charge if necessary. However, the owner did not even properly respond to my question and instead mumbled something under their breath while showing an unfriendly attitude. If they had simply told us that there would be an extra charge or that adding syrup was not possible, we would have completely understood. After that, we briefly went outside to take some photos. When we came back, the owner told us to leave and said that the café was “not a place to leave our luggage.” The total amount of time we spent at the café, including the time we were outside taking photos, was less than an hour. I understand that perhaps we should not have left our belongings at the café while stepping outside. However, the owner could have politely reminded us or explained the café's policy instead of treating us so rudely. More importantly, the owner's attitude toward us had already been unfriendly from the beginning. I have visited many cafés in Korea that were much busier and more crowded than this one, yet the staff were still friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of this café itself was fine, but the service completely ruined the experience. This was one of the worst café experiences I have had in Korea.
