I visited the restaurant with considerable enthusiasm, but unfortunately, it failed to meet my expectations. Service was ok. All they did was show me the table. They were too busy to come and check on you. Even that, there’s a 10% service charge. The noodle and broth options were impressive, and both were satisfactory. However, the beef was tough and undercooked, rendering it unpleasant to eat. I sampled a single bite before leaving the remainder untouched. Given the glowing reviews and premium pricing (notably higher than other excellent beef noodle establishments in Taipei), I anticipated a more exceptional dining experience.
