Without a doubt, one of the best bakeries I’ve ever visited. The red bean bun was absolutely packed with filling — surprisingly heavy in the best possible way. From the very first bite, you can tell they don’t cut corners with quality or generosity. The brownie was equally outstanding: intensely rich, deeply chocolatey, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. I also tried the condensed milk pastry, chocolate scone, and plain scone, and every single item was exceptional. Everything tasted freshly made with great attention to detail. This place is definitely better than I thought it would be. It looks unassuming from the outside, but as soon as I entered I was surprised by what I saw. There was a baker preparing bread, ovens running, a variety of pastries ready to order, comfortable seating, and an overall vibe that these people know what they're doing. We were really happy with what we ordered. The croissant was big and very buttery and flaky, and the apple pie was bursing at the seams with a generous amount of flavorful filling. The cream cheese pastry was a bit heavy, but only because it was absolutely stuffed with a crazy amount of cream cheese. It wasn't bad, just too rich for one person. The coffee, on the other hand, wasn't as impressive. The americano was very weak, but it served its purpose as a palate cleanser. The only other thing I'd like to mention is it's slightly unkempt inside. The decor is very dusty and in need of some attention. They have a bunch of decorative liquor bottles and wine glasses, for example, that look like props in a haunted house. I'll definitely be back here to sample some more bread, especially the red bean bread that was already out of stock when we visited an hour after opening.
