New Peng Chiang serves true blue, authentic Thai-style Teochew cuisine done well. The food is notably not oily, with a brilliant focus on the freshness of the ingredients. Every dish was a clean, flavorful burst of joy. A special shout-out to Mr. Pong, the maître d', whose friendly and welcoming nature made us feel completely at home. He was fantastic at helping us navigate the menu. Highly recommend the oyster dish (aw suan) and the fried kway teow with pork and kale. A word of advice: come early if you want to try their crab dishes because we missed out as we were late, but it just gives us a perfect excuse to return! So glad we came here. An absolute gem!
