Food at new York deli house is fantastic - especially the American breakfast with the strawberry butter. I've been twice now and Yumi on the counter recognised me. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely food. Highly recommend! Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My stopover in Jeju started a bit rough, but walking into New York Deli House completely changed my day. The owner, Yumi, is just one of those people—super kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel it right away. The deli itself is modern, clean, and has a really nice open vibe. And the mint chocolate chip frappé? So good. What really made it special though was the atmosphere. Even on a rainy day, her vision of creating a community space was happening—there was a group of students hanging out practicing English, and I ended up chatting with Michael, who’s training to be a Korean Air pilot. Just one of those unexpected, cool travel moments. I’d recommend this spot not just for the drinks and food, but for the person behind it. Yumi is doing so much—running this place, teaching yoga, organizing English camps for Korean kids in the U.S., and even heading to work at the Korean consulate in New York soon. Super inspiring. We went to the New York Deli House for brunch during our vacation on Jeju. It offers a variety of delicious American food and drinks, perfect for when you are craving some Western-style food.
