A completely ironic name for a deeply unwelcoming place. I visited Hong Kong for a work event and we chose "Nice to Meet You" to celebrate a colleague from the Philippines with a nice birthday dinner. We planned to walk in and were perfectly happy to wait in line. The host initially quoted us a 40-minute wait, which we agreed to. However, after speaking in Cantonese to the local customers in front of us, he turned back to us with a scowl and told us it would now be an hour (after telling us 40 min 2 minutes prior lol) It wasn't just the wait time; it was his completely hostile tone and body language. He made it abundantly clear that we were not wanted at this establishment. There were no apologies or solutions offered—just pure attitude. The stark difference in how we were treated compared to the locals felt like blatant discrimination, and it completely ruined the mood of our celebration. We immediately left and celebrated at Bistronomique (they were super welcoming and friendly btw). To the owners and management: do better, it is 2026. The name "Nice to Meet You" is a complete joke given the service we received. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with basic human decency. Service: 1
