Visited Nimbus Café with high expectations, but unfortunately it didn't live up to them. We ordered the Seafood Aglio Olio, and it was by far the most disappointing dish. It was incredibly bland, almost as if the seasoning had been forgotten. Even after adding Parmesan cheese, it still tasted like plain noodles with shrimp and squid. The churros were decent, but nothing memorable. At S$15, we expected much better. The chocolate dipping sauce was very diluted and lacked the rich, chocolatey flavor that makes churros enjoyable. The butter croissant was the saving grace of the meal—flaky, buttery, and delicious. Both the hot and iced lattes were also well made and enjoyable. Overall, while the café has a nice atmosphere, the food didn't justify the price. Sadly, it's not a place I'd return to for the value. Came here with the family. Had the Ahi Tuna Bowl. Was good but I thought the rice was a little clumpy. I liked the pickles that came with it and there was a generous helping of them. The tuna itself was alright but a little bland. I had a long black. Thought it was a bit too weak and dilute for my liking. Wife had the duck confit. Wasn’t too bad. A bit too sweet. Also tried the lobster roll. To be honest, I couldn’t really taste too much lobster. The brioche was good though. Wouldn’t not order it again though for that price. Chicken wings were spectacular. Really good. Would not skip that. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
