Authentic Local Flavors at Nine Emperor (Tsim Sha Tsui) Located right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Nine Emperor is quite easy to find. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a quick, authentic local meal while exploring the area. The Atmosphere & Seating The restaurant offers a fair amount of seating. However, in true Hong Kong fashion, be prepared for table-sharing. Even if there are open tables, they often prioritize seating you with one or two other diners to maximize space. It’s a very local experience! The Food & Drink I ordered two main dishes and their signature iced lemon tea. * Beef Offal (Lòng bò): This was the highlight of the meal. The offal was delicious, incredibly tender, and not chewy at all. Highly recommended if you enjoy this local delicacy. * Pork Knuckle Noodles (Mì giò heo): The pork knuckle was braised perfectly—tender and very flavorful. * The Noodles: While the meat was great, I found the noodles themselves to be a bit bland. If you prefer a bolder, saltier flavor profile (like I do), you might find the broth a little light. * Signature Lemon Tea: A classic HK staple that paired perfectly with the rich meat dishes. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a fast and tasty meal. The quality of the meat is excellent, though the seasoning of the noodle soup is quite mild.
