I had a great experience at 놈눅 (Nom Nook)! Some of the dishes I tried: Mini pepper - fresh, crisp bell peppers (locally sourced), ground meat topped with cheese and ground truffle (very nice aromatics with rich flavor). Anchovy pasta - perfectly al dente spaghetti pasta, umami-rich sauce—the fattiness of the sauce balanced extremely well with the lemon zest and some of the other acidic dimensions present in the dish. The garlic was sliced so thinly and well-prepared that it literally melted in my mouth. I’ve only experienced that a handful of times! Burrata cold pasta—capellini perfectly al dente (had a balanced amount of bite and give). I was really surprised by that because capellini is really hard to get right (esp since it is so thin!). The burrata paired beautifully with the more acidic tomatoes and fresh 방풍나물 (Korean wild parsley), which surprisingly worked well with the entirety of the dish! Also, it was my first time having 방풍나물, which is a seasonal, local herb with a flavor profile resembling Italian parsley but with a more earthy/grassy and slightly pungent aftertaste. Nom Nook (놈눅) also has an impressive curation of locally produced specialty craft-made gourmet soju selections (in all my years visiting Korea, I have never seen this!) and some great locally micro-brewed beers (e.g. a locally produced Korean saison). The service was 11 out of 10 (excellent!): exceptionally warm, unpretentious, and attentive. Loved the chill and clean vibes of the space, too. Can’t wait to come back here on my next trip to Korea! 트레바리 북클럽 번개로 방문했는데 맛있고 분위기가 좋아서 다음에 또 방문 하려구요. 주차는 금남시장 근처 공용주차장을 이용해야 해서 조금 불편하지만 사장님이 서비스를 많이 주셔서 배불리 잘 먹고 갑니다. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: 김치잼을 곁들인 감자튀김이 정말 이색적이에요.
