We’re staying right next door and decided to give Nong Bar a try—and we’re so glad we did. Over the past few days, we’ve worked our way through the entire menu, and everything has been fantastic. My personal favorite is the chicken fried rice, best enjoyed with a cold Leo beer. My wife loves the Penang Curry, which she pairs perfectly with a whiskey. As for my son, he can’t get enough of the Stir Fried Basil—he orders it every single time. Nong, the owner, is wonderfully down-to-earth and incredibly welcoming. She truly made us feel at home from the very first visit. Now, Nong Bar has become our go-to spot to wind down each evening. We’ve even met fellow travelers from all over the world here, and the friendly atmosphere makes it easy to strike up a conversation. After five days in a row, we officially consider ourselves regulars—and we plan to keep coming back for the rest of our month-long stay. The food is delicious, the vibe is warm, and the company is always great. I’d highly recommend Nong Bar to anyone looking for tasty food and genuine hospitality.
