Visited Northeast in Bangkok for lunch during a trip with my wife. This place is known for its great value, and it definitely lived up to that reputation. There were a lot of tourists when we visited, so the restaurant was quite busy. The atmosphere is casual and simple. It’s clean and comfortable, but nothing particularly fancy. We ordered the crab Pu Pad Pong Curry, fried rice, and Tom Yum Goong. All the dishes were solid and satisfying. The Pu Pad Pong Curry was the highlight — the thick, rich curry sauce paired really well with the fried rice. The Tom Yum Goong had a very strong sour flavor, which was quite memorable. Overall, the food was tasty and the prices were very reasonable. A great spot if you’re looking for good Thai food without spending too much.
