I was first dearly saddened when I heard the O-Jung former location (previously named Gyu Gyu Tei on Ratchadapisek Soi 18) has closed down after enjoying the restaurant for so many years. But it’s all good, O-Jung actually just relocated for our greatest pleasure. “So everything changed but nothing has changed” and that’s how we like it. Same owner, mostly same staff, same wagyu knowledge and of course, the beef is still an absolutely delicious treat. Happy to have lived thru the previous era of the restaurant and delighted to see it flourishing at its new location. Can’t wait to come back again. We tried the premium BBQ set, but honestly it was quite overpriced. The premium beef was better than the regular one, and once you try it, you probably won’t want to go back to the normal grade. The pork was just average, and the vegetables were fresh. The garlic fried rice was okay, nothing special. The biggest disappointment was the dipping sauce—it just wasn’t for me and lacked flavor. Overall, it was a decent meal, but considering the price, one visit was enough for us. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿1,400–1,600 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
