Visited in June 2026. Seoul South Korea. The place is extremely popular. Even on a weekday we waited about 15 minutes in line, and inside there were almost no free tables — people constantly rotated. The interior is simple, in an old-school American style with minimal decor, but it has a very cozy and authentic atmosphere. FOOD: Onestar uses American beef and grinds their own patties, mixing premium cuts — brisket and chuck roll. This creates the perfect balance of juiciness, fat content, and rich flavor with a beautiful crust. Each patty is 170 grams — thick, juicy, and full of meat juices. We tried the One Star Burger Deluxe and the Patty Melt. The burger was excellent — the meat really dominates, and the bun is soft but sturdy. The Patty Melt with caramelized onions was the quintessence of meaty flavor with crispy bread — definitely worth ordering! We also highly recommend the onion rings. SERVICE: Typical fast-casual counter service for a popular burger spot. Efficient despite the crowd. VERDICT: After checking many places, Onestar Old Fashioned Hamburgers became our benchmark for a proper American-style burger in Seoul. No unnecessary experiments — just quality meat, well-balanced grind, and honest taste. If you love classic burgers and don’t mind queuing, this place is a must-visit.
