This hotel was unacceptable and a potential health hazard. There was no reception, no staff, and no check-in instructions upon our late-night arrival. We had to rely on other guests and make multiple calls before someone showed up. We were told the hotel was having booking system failures and not receiving arrival notifications, which we initially tried to be understanding about. The room was dirty from the first night, with a strong mold smell, visible grime, and a bathroom in very poor condition. This is not normal wear and tear — it reflects serious hygiene neglect. I informed the hosts three separate times about the condition of the room. The only response was a single floor sweep on the second night. There was no bathroom cleaning, no proper housekeeping, and no towel replacement for five nights. Towels were only provided on the last night, and only after I became upset and firm. A room change was offered only on the final day, which was pointless after days of exposure to unsanitary conditions. While the individual hosts seemed polite, the management is completely inadequate. The lack of cleanliness, organization, and basic standards made this stay unsafe and unacceptable. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Service: 1

Had a absolutely fantastic stay at Pathaya, the rooms are super clean and spacious with plenty of charging points, TV, very big fridge, good WiFi and even an air purifier if that's something you'd like? The host Guillerm was super friendly upon checking into the room, offering discounted tours, activities in the local area, if you're lucky enough to get a room with a balcony that looks on to big budha in very relaxing view of the trees and the mountains of Kata. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Phuket, with easy and quick access to busy areas like Kata, Karon, rawai and nai harn, this was perfect for me and sure would be for most people wanting to visit the island. 10/10 stay, view and room, thanks Guillerm will hopefully see you again!
