Literally the place feels quite old and dusty, though not too bad overall. The food is okay but the service was very disappointing especially from one staff member who is a lady or lady boy. When we spoke in English she or he responded by shouting and had a visibly irritated face. We are not sure if she or he has an issue with foreigners but the attitude made us very uncomfortable. You could clearly see that she or he was annoyed. We came peacefully hoping to have a relaxing meal but unfortunately she or he ruined the experience for us. Sorry I am just being honest. They have karaoke with the band run by the Owner Oat ..nice man good place for dinner and a sing ! Recommend when in chiang mai Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food at Oak Tree is delicious and reasonably priced. What we were not aware of before; it is a karaoke bar. This meant there was always good entertainment. The restaurant is almost exclusively visited by locals. That makes it incredibly authentic and likeable! So if you're not just taking a run-of-the-mill tourist trip, you'll get a real insight into the life of the Thais here. We liked it so much that we spent the whole evening there and would like to come back. Because it is less touristy, communication in English is a bit difficult. But this could also be solved without any problems using Google Translator and the great service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿100–200
