Oasis cafe.....the good and the not so good. So, as a restaurant review I try to give accurate but subjective readings on restaurants I've eaten at , that I review. Oasis cafe has good streetside vibes. Relaxing shaded tables located streetide , number about 6 or 7. Inside seating has another 6-8 tables Service was decent, efficient and somewhat friendly. There is a small library bookcase with books to buy ...a very cool added feature. The food: My tuna baguette was tasty. A basic tuna salad with some lettuce and a slice or two of tomato . Nothing fancy and very basic. The Seafood pasta was a different story. While attractive to look at , the pasta dish ordered by my girlfriend was a spaghetti FIRE PIT. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spicy, my Thai girlfriend and dining partner enjoys even more spicy. But this was too much for both of us......especially when eating a farang signature dish like seafood pasta. The sauce was not tasty, even beyond the exceedingly over-the-top chili laced sauce. She ended up leaving over half the plate. Handicap doable. Final take....Again, Oasis has a decent , relaxed streetside feel but stay away from.the seafood pasta unless you enjoy maximum chili overload.
