Finally found Bakuteh after going around the whole place! My daughter's favourite! She loved the dish... the meat was so tender! The staff there was so courteous and welcoming! Definately will go there again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Old World Bakuteh & Fried Porridge (Yishun) - Inconsistent Compared to Tampines Branch Donkey and I, along with our cycling companions, are regular patrons of Old World Bakuteh & Fried Porridge and have had multiple opportunities to sample their offerings. We were coming from Punggol, and we decided to stop at this Yishun branch. Having previously frequented their Tampines branch with some regularity, we were keen to explore the Yishun establishment and ascertain any potential differences in the dining experience. In sum, our visit to the Yishun branch, while not without its merits, highlighted certain inconsistencies compared to our prior encounters in Tampines. Key Points: - Porridge Variety: A noticeable reduction in the range of porridge options available at the Yishun branch compared to the more extensive selection typically offered at the Tampines location. - Ambience: Both branches provide a decent atmosphere and friendly environment. - Service: The service was friendly and community-driven. - Food: The food is nice; however, there's a slight difference in taste from the Tampines branch.
