Don't let the beautiful Hanok house decor fool you. The food is even better. On our last night in Seoul, we saw the beautiful decor, we decided to try Oncheonjip. Inside the dining area is normal. All dining area has views into the beautiful foggy courtyard with a small pond. The bathrooms have little hobbit like doors, the bathroom inside was maybe 6 feet tall. Everything felt right in line with the Hanok theme. The food came promptly, we had some shabu seasoning in the shape of polar bears. The meats and vegetables were very fresh, the broth was seasoned wonderfully, creating a wonderful combination of tastes when it hits the mouth. The tempura was absolutely amazing, as good as ones we've had in Japan, better than some of them. Being from the NYC area, this is better shabu than even many of the high end places in NYC. I was very impressed with Oncheonjip. Everything was great, from staff, service, decor and food Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
