I was waiting for my friend dishes when the earthquake hit Bangkok, we ran for our life. I called the restaurant next day for payment. They don’t charge me and ask if I am safe or not instead. What a generous restaurant plenty of yummy menu, definitely my 1st choice when it comes to a Japanese restaurant in shopping mall. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I used to love Ootoya, but this branch has gone downhill in every way. The food quality is terrible, and the service is even worse. The staff lack enthusiasm and seem disinterested in serving customers. The grilled chicken, which used to be a highlight, arrived cold and unappealing. It's nothing like what it used to be. The staff here are completely clueless and untrained—none of the familiar faces I used to see, just inexperienced workers fumbling around. Overall, it was a terrible experience. This branch is absolutely the worst, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You're better off buying grilled chicken from Big C Supermarket downstairs—it tastes much better than what they serve here. Avoid this place at all costs! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿400–500 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Grilled Fish
