Ah! Oriental Elixir! The vibes were immaculate — even for a refined menace to society like myself. Tucked somewhere between the first and second floor, this bar made me question whether I came for a cocktail or a full-blown existential rebrand. The man behind the magic, George himself, is a connoisseur of the highest order — a gentleman with dangerously fine taste in gin and infusions. The kind of chap who could distill your childhood trauma into a delightful aperitif with a yuzu twist. The bartender whipped up a drink that tasted like colonial rebellion with a splash of generational wealth. Botanicals I couldn’t pronounce. The music? Charming. The lighting? Forgiving. The patrons? Thankfully, just enough irony and daddy issues to make me feel at home. 10/10. Would gatekeep again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40
