2025年5月はじめ、ジャングルという環境に惹かれ、ここに3泊。 BungalowとTreehouse、両方の部屋に宿泊。Bungalowで迎えた朝、猿たちの鳴き声で目が覚め、部屋の屋根まで来て起こしてくれるという嬉しいサプライズあり。Threehouseはすぐ目の前の川岸が絶景。どちらの部屋もコンパクトでシンプルな創りだがバストイレ付き、蚊帳やシーリングファン、セイフティーBOXまで用意されている。リネン類も清潔で問題なし。滞在中は、ホテル内のレストランで好きな料理をアラカルトで注文。良心的な価格の上、朝夜どちらも美味しく頂けた。何より遊び疲れて帰った後に、出来立ての料理とお酒が楽しめるのは幸せ。（朝食は基本付いていない。ここはジャングル、フードロスの多い朝食ブッフェは不要。ホテルのエコポリシーには大いに賛同）特に気に入ったのが、レストランの上のバー。ここは雰囲気が良く居心地抜群。カクテルも美味しい。ついつい長居してしまう素敵な場所。スタッフ皆さんがとてもフレンドリーで親切。可愛い猫がいるのもいい。ツアー代金や食事代の支払いについてクレジットカード利用の場合、ホテルがカードリーダーを導入していないため、対面でのオンライン決済となる。3Dセキュア（本人承認）の確認方法や各種パスワードが分からないと、支払いに進めないので注意。パッケージツアーの利用はせず。好きなようにアレンジして、事前にホテルへメールで予約。3泊4日の一例、参考までに。初日チェックイン後、15時からRiver Canoe 2日目、Choew Lan Lakeの日帰り1日ツアー (ランチ込み) 3日目、午前に半日ジャングルハイキング午後は歩いて15分ほどのメインストリートで遅めのランチ、夕方ホテルのバーでお酒を飲みながらのんびり読者 4日目、朝食後、チェックアウトどのツアーも、知識豊富なガイドのおかげで大満足。さまざまな国から来た参加者のみなさんとも楽しい時間を過ごすことができた。自然の偉大さ・大切さを改めて学び、忘れられない貴重な体験となった。アクセス方法: スラタニからロットゥーで約2時間ほど。出発前日にスラタニのPHANTIP オフィスにて、追加料金を払ってホテルまでの送迎と、ホテルからスラタニ空港までの復路も合わせて依頼した。

Before booking, we were surprised by the overwhelmingly positive Google reviews. After our stay, we honestly don’t understand how this property maintains such a high rating, as our experience was very different. We also noticed that most of the negative reviews consistently mention the same shortcomings we experienced, while many of the positive reviews are very brief and lack detail. We obviously cannot know whether this is the case, but it did make us question how representative the overall rating really is. We would simply encourage future guests to read both the positive and negative reviews carefully before booking. We stayed at Our Jungle House as part of the Discovery Package (including the Romance Tree House upgrade) and the Explorer Package with a premium lake room. We also joined several of the included activities. We wanted to leave an honest review because, despite the beautiful surroundings and unique concept, we were ultimately disappointed, especially considering the high price. The tree house experience was far more basic than expected. The rooms are not fully enclosed, with large ventilation gaps that allow humid air and insects inside. During our stay, everything became damp: the bed, sheets, clothes, and shoes never dried. Combined with the heat, humidity, and constant jungle noise, it made for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. The room itself was also extremely dark and offered almost no facilities besides a chair and drinking water. We understand this is part of the concept, but we would definitely not recommend staying more than one night. The biggest disappointment was the food. The packages are marketed in a way that suggests meals are well taken care of, but the portions were incredibly small. The continental breakfast consisted of just two slices of toast with tiny portions of butter and jam, plus a small plate of fruit. My partner’s French toast breakfast was equally limited. We actually left breakfast still hungry. Lunch after the morning activity was similarly disappointing, with very small portions that felt poor considering the premium price of the package. Throughout Thailand we consistently enjoyed much better food, even from inexpensive street vendors. The activities themselves were enjoyable but not exceptional. Groups were quite large, making the experience feel less personal, and communication was lacking. We were even scheduled for the wrong activity at one point. Throughout the stay, information about departure times and meeting points was often unclear, and staff sometimes gave incorrect information. For example, we were told to come for breakfast only 15 minutes before our departure, even though there wasn’t enough time. The lake stay was the highlight of the trip. The premium room exceeded our expectations, and having air conditioning at night made a big difference. We understand why the air conditioning only runs overnight because electricity is generated on-site. However, being on the floating resort means you are completely dependent on the group schedule, making clear organization even more important. Another downside was that drinking water was limited and soft drinks always came at an additional cost. Given the premium price of these packages, offering complimentary soft drinks or a small minibar would have been a thoughtful gesture and something we experienced at much cheaper hotels elsewhere in Thailand. Finally, our transfer back was honestly frightening. The driver overtook in dangerous places with no visibility and came dangerously close to oncoming traffic several times. We genuinely considered asking to get out of the vehicle. This should never happen with an organized tour. Overall, Our Jungle House offers a beautiful location and a unique concept, but for the price we expected much more comfort, better food, and significantly better organization. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the premium price tag.

While we are pleased that you enjoyed the beauty of the lake and your premium floating room, we are genuinely sorry that so many other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations.Our Jungle House was created to offer an authentic rainforest experience rather than a conventional hotel stay. Our tree houses are intentionally designed to be open to the surrounding jungle, allowing natural ventilation and an immersive connection with nature. We understand, however, that the humidity, sounds of the rainforest, and presence of insects can be uncomfortable for some guests, particularly those unfamiliar with this style of accommodation.We are disappointed to hear that the meals did not meet your expectations. Our package menus are designed to provide fresh, locally prepared food. The continental breakfast provides less items than other options as described on the menu like the hiker’s breakfast with eggs and a cooked meal.During your stay, our team did not receive any concerns or requests for assistance, so we were unfortunately unaware that your experience was falling short of your expectations. Had we known, we would have welcomed the opportunity to assist and make your stay more enjoyable.Your comments regarding the transfer are especially concerning. Guest safety is our highest priority, and we have raised this matter with our transport provider for immediate investigation. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.Regarding drinking water, unlimited complimentary drinking water is available throughout the resort and during our tours. We do charge for soft drinks and other beverages, as these are not included in our packages, although we appreciate your suggestion and will take it into consideration.Thank you again for your honest feedback.
