One of the best coffeeshop mala sellers out there and I have had many. The pricing is also very affordable. Highly, highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Wife was craving mala xiang guo for dinner today so just googled for places and this Outback Mala Hotpot place popped up. The choices of ingredients were decent, and more importantly, looked fresh and clean. No smell or discolouration in the meats, and the vegetables looked looked healthy too. Ordered medium spicy for take away, and got home within 10-15min. I think this outlet might just be my new favourite outlet for mala xiang guo!! The flavour was all to be expected of a medium spicy: not too weak but yet not overpowering on the heat. And the reason we liked it so much: it’s not salty. I think this might be the least salty and least oily mala place that I’ve ordered from in a long time I didn’t feel thirsty after the meal. The only downside is the environment is very stuffy and hot so unless it’s a cool day and you sit outside, it would be torture to sit in the kopitiam to eat mala. I’ll be back. And soon too!
