Oye Punjabi Indian Restaurant, Taipei Authentic, quality, and real-good Indian food with great service! (Price is on the higher side, but it was worth the visit!) Our #1 favorites: Murg Makhani Masala （奶油雞肉咖哩） -the crowd favorite! Flavor was well balanced with a tinge of sweetness and creaminess. Really goes well with both the biryani and bread! Lachha Parantha （全麥烤餅） -this was REAL GOOD. They really nailed the aroma, texture, and taste! Highly recommend eating it plain first before adding sauce to it. Masala tea -we liked that it wasn’t too sweet and that the tea was slightly stronger than the milk. The spices and cinnamon went well with the milk tea as well! The other dishes tasted good too! No complaints, just compliments Environment: The restaurant may not be as spacious, but it was clean and comfortable. (Yes, the washroom was also clean!) We really appreciate the big plates and drinking glasses! The table was quite small, though. Service: The server was attentive to our requests and refilled our water promptly. He answered our questions with a pleasant smile and tried his best to describe the dishes using simpler terms. Kudos to him! (They also gave us complimentary appetizer and dessert) Highly recommend this place for those who wish to try out real Indian cuisine!
