We are French and wanted to have french brunch. The food was okay, nothing exceptional. However, the service was mediocre. Thats absolutely not Ritz standard (for some reason they are marketing it everywhere on the menu). The waitress could clearly see that we didn’t understand the menu at all, yet she made no effort to help us. At least smile or be nice is the minimum, because she clearly looked like we were bothering her, and we have never faced that experience in Taiwan visiting hundreds of restaurants, it is the first time. When we asked about what is the dessert of the day, she had to shout across the room to another waitress to answer us. I’ve rarely seen such a lack of professionalism or willingness to serve customers, probably because we didn’t speak the local language. Then at the end, it was cash only, in two weeks in Taipei, went to hundreds of restaurants, many less upscale than this one and never had any issue paying by card. Considering the prices, the area where it’s located, the overall standard they want to achieve it’s just unacceptable. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

We sincerely apologize that the staff member was so focused on processing English that they forgot to smile. We will improve our staff’s language proficiency and service attitude. Merci beaucoup
