I visited Papa Eatery recently, and the first thing I have to say is — the view is absolutely stunning. The restaurant sits high on the hill with a wide, open view of the mountains and valley below. Whether it’s sunrise or sunset, the scenery is breathtaking and totally worth the trip. It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit back with a drink and take in the view for hours. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, perfect for relaxing or spending time with friends while enjoying the cool mountain breeze. As for the food, I’d say it’s good but not outstanding. Some dishes were tasty and well-prepared, especially the local-style ones, but a few items could use a little improvement — maybe adjusting the seasoning or presentation. It’s not bad at all, just that the food doesn’t quite live up to how amazing the view is. That said, the portions are decent, and the staff are polite and welcoming, which makes the experience pleasant overall. If you’re visiting Doi Chang or nearby areas, Papa Eatery is definitely worth stopping by for the atmosphere and view alone. The food is enjoyable enough, but with a bit of fine-tuning, this place could easily become one of the top dining spots in the area.
