Where do Thai royalty go when they want the best food in Koh Tao? Here. It’s the best kept secret. Aunty P’oy is the most delicious food in Thailand. You heard me right. Thailand. Unfussy, unpretentious, and utterly delicious. There’s nothing ‘precious’ or ‘precocious’ about her authentic Thai food. She takes great pride in making beautifully rendered vegetables with duck egg. OMG, how about the friggin deliciously rightly fried, not dried to the bone, fresh fish with local dipping and fresh veggies. You might wanna slap your mama for her satay and forget about the loveliness that is her take on black rice and mango. Refined not pretentious. It’s not 60 baht msg food. If you want to do yourself a favour!! Chef p'Oy has reopend her restaurant, but now in Sairee, and if you know, you know! Thai food, already at it's best, but then with this little extra 'zing' to it, a memorable 'je ne sais quoi', that is just endulging. The flavours are perfectly balanced, and seem to have some extra warmth and depth to it. P'Oy manages to make the already generous flavours of Thai Cuisine even more heart-warming and welcoming.. Chicken wings, or the pork satay, or the crispy chicken skin will get your taste buds started. Her massaman curry is famous, but we also have had the beef pad kra pao, seafood stir-fry, with perfectly cooked tender squid, chicken Penang, fried rice. Everything is absolutely on point, both flavourwise and cuisson, and not expensive at all. Trust me, don't trust me.. Up to you.. Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
