PPP Coffee at Funan is the kind of café that makes you want to linger — sleek, minimalist, and effortlessly cool, with a vibe that feels more “design studio” than your average coffee shop. It’s not just a place to grab a cup; the space doubles as a playground for coffee lovers, stocked with equipment and gear from various brands so you can bring the café experience home with you. For my visit, I ordered the Double Shot Flat White made with the Nuts and Bolts Blend at SGD 7.85 — a fitting name given the space’s hardware heritage. The blend was medium roasted and slightly less acidic, with a strong roasted character that came through clearly in the cup, balanced by notes of caramel and chocolate. I have a soft spot for coffee on the more heavily roasted side, and this hit the mark well. This is one coffee I’d happily order again and again — it’s become a regular go-to for me. I always go to PPP coffee if I see one. Whether it’s the Jln Besar outlet, or the New Bahru or this outlet at Funan. The long black is rich, smooth, and buttery. Good flavor chocolate, nutty notes with a little tint of slight sourness. The pistachio bread is just ok. I was expecting it to be more dense but it was more like a sponge cake A bit dry. If you’re staying at the Alma House or anywhere near New Bahru area and want something thing cool, wake me up refreshing ? PPP ice latte is amazing but would be incomplete without their in house tiny square espresso butter cookies, I bought a 1/2 dozen jars of cookies as gifts and a couple for myself. It is now my favorite cookie in the whole world and I’ll probably have to beg my nephew to send some to his Aunty Glo in Half Moon Bay (near San Francisco) for my birthday.
