Can’t say no to a donut - been meaning to check this place out for a while, and I’m glad I did. Had the burnt butter honey which was so delicious with that additional sprinkle of salt on top, resisted ordering another on my first visit but could not say no the second time round! Coffee was.. ok, more on the milkier side to my preference. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5

I tried the donuts at PRALET in Tiong Bahru. They look simple, but the quality is high overall, and they feel more like donuts for adults rather than overly sweet, flashy ones. I bought three flavors: Burnt Butter Honey Glaze, Triple Choc Fudge Donut, and Cinnamon Sugar. The Burnt Butter Honey Glaze was my favorite, with a great balance of the nutty aroma of burnt butter and the gentle sweetness of honey without being too sweet. The Triple Choc Fudge Donut was rich and chocolatey, very indulgent and satisfying. The Cinnamon Sugar donut was simple but fragrant, and it really let the quality of the dough shine. The donuts were fluffy yet substantial, not overly oily, and very easy to eat. Unlike typical touristy donuts, these felt carefully made and suited the calm, laid-back vibe of the Tiong Bahru neighborhood.
