Visited on a weekday evening for dinner. The restaurant is spacious and tastefully decorated, offering a classy yet relaxed ambience that makes it suitable for both casual meals and small gatherings. There also weren't many diners at that time. Having heard that the truffle fries were a popular choice, I ordered them along with the spiced calamari and the king prawn aglio olio sphagettini. The food was served promptly, and the staff were attentive and polite throughout the meal. Overall, the dishes were satisfactory. They were enjoyable, though not particularly memorable. While the dining experience was pleasant, the prices may be slightly on the higher side for what is offered. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $70–80 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Nearest MRT Station Marine Parade station. ️ Use Exit 3, and walk down Joo Chiat Road. At junction of East Coast Road, ️ turn left and i12 Katong Mall is right there. Decor / Ambience *************************. This PS.Cafe Katong outlet features an elegant & relaxed dining experience with a distinct aesthetic inspired by colonial heritage seaside villas that once lined East Coast Road. The decor includes tiled ceilings and glossy black and white checkered marble floors. ︎ Large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, creating a bright and airy indoor dining area. The ambience can be described as chic, classy & sophisticated, making it a suitable spot for various Alfresco area ️ The pet-friendly breezy outdoor courtyard, which features rustic looking rattan chairs and potted verdant green plants, provides ample seating for those who prefer the natural air. Food ************. As always, I ordered my favourite PS Cafe dish for takeaway — the Thai Chicken Basil Bowl priced at SGD26. This delicious Thai-style rice bowl comes with generous portions of soy-sauce marinated minced chicken stir-fried with fragrant basil leaves, topped with a poached egg, freshly julienned carrots and cucumber, and a generous portion of de-veined steamed prawns. Feedback = There were some very hard woody stalks or stems of the basil leaves in the rice bowl. ️ Would appreciate if the kitchen hands remove the woody stems from the basil leaves. Thank You. _______________________________________. Service = The service staff were friendly, attentive and pleasant, like all other PS Cafe staff. PS.Cafe Katong offers a menu that blends classic PS. Cafe dishes with outlet-specific Singaporean-inspired items.
