The only reason why we went there was seats were still available over lunch time. The muffin was so powdery and almost inedible, and the coffee was like black coffee with milk poured into a cup. The food would be -5 stars. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

What a hidden gem for this Pacific coffee, with a beautiful interior design. A bit dark, but looking like an old Club in England. Need to enter the Bank of China Tower, and no sign outside. Busy (and a bit noisy…) at lunch time, but worth a visit or come at a quieter time to enjoy a book and a cup of coffee in their club armchairs…

This is a tough one to rate. My internal rule for coffee shops is that only their full featured, top tier stores qualify for 5 stars. This one is not it. Example, they don’t even have porcelain mugs, only disposable paper cups. They don’t have ice cream, so no affogato served. However, the interior design is really nice. Place is warm, nice, relaxing and not crowded. So, if you are in the mood for ambiance more than menu, add a star.
