Please believe the other bad reviews, it's real. Server, who I assume is the store owner is operating very unprofessionally. I came here twice, ordered the same thing, and got charged 2 different prices. Probably thinks Singaporeans are dumb with the way he is getting away with it. Please always check the line items and question this guy, you're not imagining it, he's seriously dishonest. Very bad look for Kopitiam to allow such dishonest vendors. I hope this gets sorted out. Unpleasant dining experience. Found discarded ends in the long beans, grainy texture in the bak choy. Faced 2 impatient stall operators at this economical rice stall, once for asking what was in the omelette and another for asking him to repeat the price during payment. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I had a really unpleasant experience at the mixed rice stall today. The server was extremely rude—he shouted at me as if he were lecturing a student, saying, "Can't you hear what I told you? For $2.70, you can only choose the dishes with clips!" As a first-time customer, it was a rude shock. I just wanted a simple, hearty lunch, not to be yelled at. I genuinely hope he finds peace in his day, because shouting at paying customers isn’t acceptable behavior. If he dislikes his job that much, perhaps it would be better for both him and the customers if he reconsidered being in that role. I ended up walking away and couldn’t bring myself to buy the lunch. It’s disappointing, and I really hope such behavior doesn’t become normal in our society—it’s simply not healthy for anyone involved Service: 1
