Kata Beach’s night walking street market is one of those places that instantly pulls you in with its lights, music, and the smell of amazing street food drifting through the air. It’s lively without feeling overwhelming, and every corner has something interesting to taste, try, or take home. One absolute must-visit is Pad Thai Maprang! There is so many choices but my favorite is the butter garlic shrimp, and the shrimp fried rice, and you can’t find a better price. The food is incredibly flavorful—perfectly balanced, fresh, and cooked with the kind of care you can taste in every bite. And honestly, what makes the experience even better is the woman who sits out front and takes your order. She’s warm, welcoming, and has this genuine, cheerful energy that makes you feel like you’re a regular even if it’s your first time. Her kindness adds so much charm to the whole meal.
