バンコク市内スクンビットにある新しい超巨大商業施設「エムスフィア」の、これまた超巨大なフードコートの中にあります。地図がないと見つけるのだけで一苦労ですが、眺めて歩いているだけでもそのスケールと派手な装飾を楽しめます。 ここのフードコートにはたくさんのタイ料理屋さんがあってパッタイを食べられるお店は他にもありますが、ここはパッタイ専門店で、パッタイを食べたいならここで決まりです。私は妻と一緒に来店し、スクランブルエッグの乗ったパッタイを食べました。スクランブルエッグは卵が半熟でプルプル、とてもおいしかったです。. 8/6/26 - 4 stars One of the multitude of food court options in the huge Emsphere mall. We settled on this place as a lot of the other options were international cuisine. Fried noodle dishes are intrinsically a street food dish, so, had high expectations for a pricier spot within a luxury mall. Overall impression: its good, but, not excellent. A solid lunch spot. Pork neck pad thai Flavour: S, 8/10. Good but not drastically better than street stalls Noodles: S+, 8.5/10. I do enjoy the somewhat stickier and chewier style of noodles in Thailand compared to Sydney. Pork: S+, 8.5/10. Value: A, 7/10. 280 baht is a bit expensive for Thailand but not too bad Grilled chicken pad siew Flavour: S+, 8.5/10. Good wok hei. Noodles: S+, 8.5/10. Chicken: S+, 8.5/10. Pretty juicy and flavourful Value: A, 7/10. 280 baht Spring rolls: A, 7/10. Pretty crispy but otherwise ordinary. 180 baht not really worth. Fried pork rib: S+, 8.5/10. Crispy and pretty tender. Actually pretty delicious especially with the sauce but not much for 450 baht. Grilled beef: S+, 8.5/10. Similar to the pork, actually quite tasty but relatively small portion for 350 baht
