Got dropped off in a local neighborhood for a restaurant that turned out to be closed, so I wandered around and found Paktai 41. It looks super local (in the best way), and the online reviews convinced me to give it a try - I'm so glad I did. What a pleasant surprise. The chef was incredibly kind and accommodating. Even though they were about to close around 3pm, they still took the time to recommend dishes and went out of their way to get fresh vegetables and soup for me. Highly recommend, especially the fish dishes! Paid only 135 baht for the food plus a soft drink. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ฿1–200
