The banchan is really wow. Including raw marinated crab and one fired first - just with the banchan itself. Had the abalone bite pot and it was just normal; nothing special about it tbh but the combo with banchan, makes it really worthwhile. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Paldo Restaurant 팔도식당 was where we had our very first lunch in Jeju, and it turned out to be a great introduction to local Korean dining. From the moment we stepped in, the experience felt welcoming and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and one pleasant surprise was that they could communicate in Mandarin, which made ordering much easier and smoother for us. The restaurant was lively, with many locals dining there, which is always a reassuring sign when choosing a place to eat. The atmosphere felt authentic and unpretentious — no frills, just honest food served in a casual setting. We ordered a few dishes, and everything tasted good, well-prepared, and satisfying. The flavors were balanced and comforting, exactly what you’d want for a first meal after arriving. Overall, Paldo Restaurant offers a solid local dining experience with good food, friendly service, and a genuine neighborhood vibe.
