For real authentic street style stir fry Thai cuisine Pantong Restaurant in Klong Muang is the one!(not Panthong as indicated in google map). It is diagonally opposite Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort, the restaurant look like a nostalgic Malaysian coffee shop, with a glass shelf hanging a few strand of stink beans (her signature dish). We tried their fried soft shell crab, fried pork belly, coconut prawn soup and of course the stink bean prawns it is amazingly good, so good that the 2 of us order 1 more dish, the Triple Crispy Squid Salad, but it turns out to be triple crispy shrimps salad.the best Thai salad I had in the trip. The salad contains raw mango, fried shrimps, peanuts, cashew nuts, fried pork lard steaks, lemon and fish sauce plus chilli mixed together (see pix), the combination is out of the world! We wanted to try their basil leave mince duck, but no luck. Nevertheless my wife and me walk back to Dusit with tight tummy Note: One of the image here show the signage of Pantong Restaurant, do keep a look out if you’re near the restaurant as the signage is faded after many years Food: 5 Service: 5
