A very cosy place, staff is Great and Will help with tips on what to do, where to go, taxi and more. Bungalows are nice and clean. Pool is nice and relaxing with sitting possibilitys in it. Food really sticks out. Very very good !! Papillon pad thai is a must try I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. Single traveller or family does not matter. Service: 4

Spent 3 weeks here and it's amazingly friendly. Great staff and really close to the beach and the food is really really good. Easy access to taxi and tuk tuk

I had a wonderful stay at Papillon Bungalows on Long Beach, Koh Lanta. The bungalows are clean, and well-equipped with both fan and air conditioning. The bathroom was nicely designed, and with a separate shower, which isn’t always standard in Thailand (sometimes it is over the toilet and everything gets wet while showering) You can request daily cleaning and get as much drinking water as you like. There’s also a hammock at each bungalow – perfect for relaxing. The on-site restaurant is excellent. I had lunch once and dinner twice – everything was delicious. The Special Pad Thai was outstanding! Breakfast offers four tasty set options with coffee and juice – a great way to start the day. The staff truly make this place special. They are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They gave me great personal tips and made me feel really welcome. I spent two relaxing days by the pool. Yes, a few leaves might fall in, but the staff were constantly keeping things clean – it’s nature, after all! If I had one small suggestion, it would be to add a few more loungers by the pool. It wasn’t the most inviting area for lying down. That said, I was there at the very start of the off-season, so it might be different during high season. I always managed to find a lounger when I wanted one, along with as many towels as I needed. I could even order a shake or a coffee from the restaurant and enjoy it by the pool – what more could you ask for? All in all, I give 5 stars without hesitation – and one extra for the fantastic team. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m on Koh Lanta!
