I didn’t know it was possible to laser-slice meat until I ate here. The sausages were cut so impossibly thin they could have doubled as a transparency sheet. I genuinely think if I held one up to the light, I could read a newspaper through it. It takes a monumental amount of effort and precision to make a sausage have the same thickness as the spoon I was eating with. If you enjoy paying full price for microscopic slivers of food, this is the place for you. Otherwise, skip it. Food: 1

had the prawn aglio olio, i hope we get to choose the spicy level! nevertheless the food is still good and service staff is damn good too!! she gave us kids reward card and explained the benefits. every dish ordered entitled u a kids meal every last sunday of the month!!! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You get what you pay for. With the affordable prices, you can’t expect too much in terms of quality and taste. We ordered the Aglio Olio and Carbonara. The Aglio Olio linguine tasted more like chilli stir-fried pasta. The pasta strands were broken instead of served whole, there was very little garlic fragrance, and the linguine was rather soft in texture. As for the Carbonara, it was more like a cream sauce pasta served with ham, with not even a slight resemblance to a real carbonara. It became quite jelak after a while, and tasted more like blanched spaghetti tossed in full cream. As mentioned, you get what you pay for, so expectations shouldn’t be too high. PastaMania has always felt more like an express pasta place to quickly fix your hunger when you’re in a rush.
